Focus- Makeup Enhancement

As a child, I vividly recall always having either a pencil or a paintbrush in my hand, cherishing the idea of creating something for others to appreciate. One morning, while watching my mom prepare for the day, I noticed she held a large, fluffy brush in one hand and a pink powder in the other, gently applying it to her cheeks. As soon as she set it down, my hands eagerly reached for it, marking the beginning of my passion for the art of makeup.

As I grew older and discovered YouTube, I immersed myself in the world of makeup, learning and exploring its many facets. I developed a deep love not only for beauty makeup but also for special effects. Encouraged by my parents to turn my passion into a career, I began researching schools in the city during my senior year of highschool. However, when COVID hit a few months later, I found myself navigating the retail world for a couple of years and just it though.

Eventually, I mustered the courage to return to school, wanting to broaden my education beyond just makeup. I enrolled at Empire Beauty Schools for the Esthetics program, which included extended courses in Makeup and Lash techniques. It was during this journey that I realized makeup is more than just application; it involves understanding which products and techniques work best for each individual's facial features and skin.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to share my skills and knowledge at Brows N’ Beauty Lounge. Makeup is an art form that deserves to be shared with the world, and I eagerly anticipate helping others feel beautiful while showcasing their best selves.
