From a young age, I have been captivated by the beauty industry. I knew early on that I wanted to be a part of it. Even in school, I would apply a full face of makeup, only to remove it later and start the process all over again, despite not having any plans to go out. I was the go-to person for styling my friends’ hair and makeup for events.

 

The first thing I did when I got my first job was book a brow and lash appointment, signaling my commitment to this passion. During my junior and senior years of high school, I pursued cosmetology classes, but I soon realized that my true passion lay elsewhere within the beauty sector. I discovered the field of esthetics and dedicated my senior year to researching the best schools, ultimately enrolling at Empire Beauty School.

Although I had to wait six months to start my program, I gained invaluable experience working as a receptionist at Brows and Beauty Lounge. This role allowed me to immerse myself in the esthetics environment and learn from talented professionals. My eagerness to learn grew as I observed their daily routines.

 

Once I began my formal education, I embraced every opportunity, taking extra classes in makeup and lash application. I quickly realized how much I loved lash artistry. Initially, the process required patience, but as I worked with more clients, I found it to be a peaceful and rewarding experience. Witnessing their reactions when they saw their reflections for the first time was incredibly fulfilling. By the end of my studies, I recognized that my true passion was as a lash artist.

 

I was fortunate to return to Brows and Beauty Lounge as a professional after graduating. Now, I specialize in classic lashes, enhancing clients’ natural beauty. Each day, I look forward to my work and am excited to continue helping others feel beautiful.
